Urban Tilth has an immediate opening for a part-time Finance Manager experienced in using Quickbooks Online, familiar with non-profit bookkeeping (AR, AP) and payroll. The ideal candidate will love gardening, healthy food and social and economic justice. The candidate will be a friendly and empathetic individual, looking for a family style work environment. They will be friendly, community oriented, possess impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, as well as be organized, detail-oriented and well-versed in Quickbooks Online. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently and as a member of a dynamic, diverse, youthful, visionary, community based team.
Core responsibilities include AP/AR, payroll, invoicing, financial reporting, cash flow analysis and other duties associated with financial management and human resources.
The Finance Manager will work under the supervision of the Executive Director and in collaboration with our CPA. This position must be performed in-house.
Farm to Table CSA Delivery Driver
Urban Tilth has an immediate opening for a delivery driver for our Farm to Table Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). The driver is responsible for picking and delivering 20-30 boxes of locally grown fruits and vegetable to local CSA members in West Contra Costa County every Tuesday. Excellent customer service and timeliness are 2 primary measures of success. The position is very part-time, Tuesdays from 12pm – 4pm but the project is growing. Additional hours may be available picking up produce from local partner farms on Mondays as well.
