5% Local Coalition

The 5% Local Coalition is a group of individuals and organizations working to develop the capacity of west Contra Costa County to grow 5% of our own food supply. We had our first meeting in December of 2006 and began the process of formalizing our organization in early 2008. Non-profits Urban Tilth and Verde Partnership Garden are co-sponsors of the 5% Local Coalition.
