Garden Technical Assistance
In addition to Urban Tilth’s Urban Ag, Education and Community Greening programs, we also provide a revolutionary Garden Technical Assistance program for local schools, churches, and other community organizations interested in starting, restarting or expanding their own community gardens.
Through the Garden Technical Assistance program Urban Tilth staff members are available to assist with organizing garden raising parties, designing and visioning, new feature installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and curriculum design, as well as providing individual or group in service training in these areas.
The Garden Technical Assistance program also offers our Apprentices the rare opportunity to lead! During Garden Technical Assistance projects apprentices deepen their knowledge of urban agriculture, while refining the skill sets they began learning through the intensive training program. And because Apprentices take center stage on the Garden Tech work sites they also have the opportunity to cultivate invaluable community connections, becoming positively engaged members of their own communities.
Urban Tilth has provided and will continue to provide Garden Technical Assistance to the following organizations.

- Crestmont Parent Co-op
