On December the 5th, 2019, the Food Chain Workers Alliance and the HEAL Food Alliance presented the 2019 Leadership Award to Urban Tilth. In honor of their work towards food sovereignty in Richmond and their role as community farmers, educators, and land stewards organizing for a more just, sustainable food system that is rooted in community.
